Wednesday

Kids in the studio

I had a big family photo shoot today. It was fun, but we sure had a lot of people in my studio! Here are a few of the kids. My niece, Makenna missed out on this shoot (not so keen on the studio), but Mia just loves being in front of the camera, so I posted two of her! Thanks to my assistants, Mer and Christine for helping out with the reflectors and the kids - couldn't have done it without you!

Thursday

Pathfinders

I taught my first photography class this week. It was a lot of fun helping the pathfinders get their photography badges. I am holding a photo contest for them - GOOD LUCK GIRLS!!!!!

Wednesday

Symphony Of Fire

I usually go to at least one day of the Symphony Of Fire in Vancouver every year. I had forgotten my tripod at home and had to get creative. I balanced my camera on the top of my cooler, while resting my long lens on an empty Coke bottle. It was trial and error, because I could not look through my viewfinder, but most of them turned out really good!

Sunday

Anita Chapman

My friend, and amazing photographer, Anita, and I went out on a little photo shoot of our own. The rain held off as we took turns trading off being the photographer and the subject. Isn't she gorgeous?! You can check out Anita's website at www.perfectmoments.ca

Saturday

Andy & Jack

Anita and I had fun galavanting around Abbotsford with her two little boys in tow. We explored long grassy areas and train tracks. We worked up quite an appetite and then went for dinner and gelato - mmmmmmm!

Mia Dove

My baby niece, Mia, was a delight to have in the studio. It was not a real session, because I only had her in the studio for a few minutes, but she was a great and did not complain while I played around with my WB. Next time, I'll make it a longer shoot!
